Decorating With Miniature Christmas Trees – Big Idea!

Decorating with miniature christmas trees is a really fun way to bring christmas to every room in the house. What I really like about it is the unlimited possibilities and the opportunity to change things up and not be limited by that one tree. Maybe you have always longed to do that elegant white tree or maybe you have a passion for bingo – well, whatever you can imagine can be made into a miniature christmas tree. Any tree you create is sure to bring joy, laughter or a great conversation piece to your family and friends for the holiday season.

Simple, goofy, elegant and everything in between. Mini trees can be whatever you want them to be because they are so small and easy to do. No-where-near the time commitment that you give to a full size tree.

Look at this clever idea, perfect for the kitchen. I imagine it would look great with oranges as well – maybe even some orange zest sprinkled around for a great look and a great smell.

Here is a more traditional looking tree in miniature form. You could adorn it in traditional ornaments or you could pick your favorite subject and you are sure to find mini ornaments to accomodate. How about dogs, cats, trucks or even puzzles. Browse the available mini ornaments, pick a theme and cover your mini tree from head to toe. What fun!

This is a great idea. I love that! Little christmas trees in each room!!

When we had a new puppy three years ago, we opted out of the traditional tree and decided to go with a table top tree in the family room and another on the sideboard in the dining room. We loved it so much that we aren’t planning to go back, even though our “puppy” is now fully grown.

Oooh, I love that idea of lots of mini Christmas trees around the house, what a nice atmosphere that would create, especially if they had some battery operated Christmas lights on them, what a nice glow that would give – it would look very festive – thanks for the idea!
If you had a whole bunch of these you could create a little Christmas forest in your house! How would that be for Christmas decorations and atmosphere. Great idea!

I’ve never heard this story either, very interesting. I also like how you caution people about the use of tinsel when cats are around. Mine used to try and eat it all the time and when he did he always got sick So unfortunately no more tinsel for my tree.
Up until this year, I have never seriously considered decorating my home with little trees. This blog has given me a lot of great ideas of things I could do this year. I don’t know what I think about the photo with the three Christmas trees. That seems kinda weird to me…but I guess other people like it!
You know, you can get small tabletop fibre optic Christmas trees too if you want to have a bit of variety around the house

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a couple of smaller trees to replace our ancient silver artificial tree. I think your site just convinced me. What a wonderful collection of ideas for people like me who know they want to do something different this year but are not quite sure what that should be. I love the room-themed trees from the Essortment article. Also, with smaller trees, I don’t have to worry so much about my cats competing to see who can knock them over first.
These mini trees are a nice ideal if you do not want to put up a large tree. In addition, the pinecone tree you have feature will look go in your windows as decoration.
Great Idea! I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many Christmas Trees! I never really thought about having multiple ones.
This special holiday only comes around once a year. Thanks for helping us make the most of it. (And yes, I know the holiday is much more than just trees.)

These small Christmas trees are just perfect for small apartments, or a small condom, like mine. Doesn’t take too much space, and frankly, they look great.
This is exactly what I need.

Hi,
We found miniature Christmas trees to be a really popular item last year, however we did find a lot of people didn’t really see where they could use them, and to be honest we where a little short of ideas. I cam across this post last year and directed a few customers this way to take a look at a couple of design ideas. Not sure if they placed an order on the back of visiting, however it proved to be a useful resource for us. Just like to say thanks.
Do you provide product reviews if I supplied a product?
Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for using this site as a resource. I am thrilled to be able to provide ideas and information.
I would also be happy to review a product and write an article review. Just let me know how I can help.

Some great ideas. I’ll be remembering these for this coming up season.
I love the idea of putting a small Christmas tree in lots of areas around the house. A couple of years ago, we even purchased a fabric Christmas tree with felt ornaments to put in my daughters room when she was 3 years old. It helped her to fell a part of everything.
I like small trees, so much easier for me to manage, i’m not very good at dressing tree’s. So a small one is a challenge i can meet!
I like placing small christmas tress decorated using LED lights.
Christmas is the most special event for everyone, but not for ours. For we don’t celebrate Christmas.
I can’t wait for Christmas! it is my sons first Christmas, and we are so excited. We are getting several small Christmas trees to place around the house, because I know he will love the lights!
Little X-mas Trees all it up on the Dining Room table make for a GREAT centerpiece!
Try putting puzzles pieces of Christmas trees for an educatoinal way to decorate your tree that is cheap!
I like the one with the little trees in the metal pail full of apples. That’s a really neat idea. Thanks!
